Had my 12 weeks scan

Right this is my gripe.
When you go to the hospital for a scan they tell you to have a full bladder which is fine in itself if when its your appointment time they took you right in and scanned you then let you out for a wee.
My app was at 9 am this morning and so therefore from around 8 am I made sure I had a big bottle of water to fill said full bladder.
So I'm drinking from 8 am til 9am in order to have a full bladder for a good picture, except they didnt have me in at 9 am do they ? nooooo they were running behind. So a full bladder then turned into an uncomfortable full bladder, into an excruciatingly painful very over flowing full bladder.( which really wasn't eased by the trickling water noises my other half was making next to me ) When I finally went in the sonographer was like "oh everyone says their bladder is full heheheheh "I thought to myself yeah well you press on it for too long and your gonna find out exactly how full it is sweetheart !Anyway the pain disappeared as soon as the baby came into sight on the screen. I wasn't prepared for how I would feel seeing the little mite in black and white in front of me, it truly was breathtaking. Everytime the probe was passed over the baby it moved and jumped as if to say go away. It performed for its audience, sucked its thumb and generally impressed us with various moves that would be quite at home on the dance floor in the local night club. It soon was over and we paid our £4, yes that was £4 for our piccie and left to alleviatete the bladder problem, now considering that the state I was in is the state that all the women are in during their time in the scan department youd think they have more than one toilet wouldn't you?. Well nope , one toilet there was to be used by patients and men and children alike. I was not a happy bunny especially considering the person in the toilet at the time was a man and the person waiting before me was also a man. For god's sake couldnt they go find a plant pot or a tree to wee up? My need was definitely greater than theirs !!!

Holiday In Rhodes

Found some photos of a lovely holiday we had in Rhodes in october 2005. Wonderful place to holiday but a git of a walk back to your apartment have to say my calf muscles resembled Fatima whitbreds after only a week !!!

Hot as hell but more picturesque, and full of lovely food and real pitta bread not like the crappy ones you get at safeway.

Anyway not including the rest of the photos as many of them are topless and would't want to put you off your breakfast!

When does life begin?

Did you know that you can still legally have an abortion at 24 weeks??? Well take a look at the picture on the left,this is what a 24 week old fetus looks like.

A question which has been asked over and over again, when does life begin?

Would you say a baby only has rights once its gone to term and then been physically born?

Or would you say that life begins at conception, right at the point the sperm meets the egg?.

It's a tricky one, and I'm sure I dont have the answers however I wish to share some thoughts on the subject with you.

My youngest son was born at 30 weeks , 10 weeks earlier than he should have been. thats only 6 weeks after the legal abortion age. He was very small but still perfectly formed and full of life.

My collegue at work had twins born at 26 weeks (just 2 weeks past the abortion age limit) and with a lot of special care they survived and are now strapping 3 year olds.

Surely a baby must have rights before its born, for these prem babies are as alive inside the womb as they are outside of it , thats just geography.

I find it amazing that fetus's born at the abortion age limit are actually viable,yet some during these late abortions are delivered alive and then left to die.

I also find it amazing that as early as 12 weeks (see pic top right)a fetus is fully formed ( thats earlier than many women realise they are pregnant)

My attitude when I was younger was always one of " I'ts the womans choice, its her body" not even considering any rights which the child may have.

2 children down the line and almost 3 months into my third pregnancy and I have to say its a whole different kettle of fish.

I had to go for an early scan at 6 weeks , you couldn't see much, just a sac and a heartbeat rythmically flickering in the middle of the screen. It was then that it struck me, this little thing inside me desperately wanted a chance at life. I'd created a human being, I had given life.(well with a little help from my partner)

Who are we as a race to be making descions affecting life and death issues?

An abortion isnt family planning, it isnt birth control . Its the wilfull ending of a life.

Now I dont know about a higher being or indeed where we go to after this life but surely something created us ? and only that who created us , who created all this which we survey should have the call over who lives and who dies??

Big Brother? Big Bitches

Omg !!!Big Brother what have you done ??? It started off with the vile Shabaz crumbling before our eyes and being escorted from the show for the sake of mental health issues. Then Dawn,a true wolf in sheeps clothing if ever I saw one. Now things are really begining to turn nasty, who the hell does Sezer think he is calling the new housemate a hoe? Does he know her personally or intimatly enough to give her this title? Nope ! Grace and Imogen are begining to show their true colours also what a bunch of bitches I'd like nothing better than rid of Grace, Imogen, Sezur and Lisa and shall be voting accordingly. Pete is the star of the show , however I like Richard and indeed Lea, humungous breasts an all ! I have a feeling somewhere in the pit of my stomach that the whole Shabaz, Dawn and to a certain extent George thing was all a set up from the begining, leaving opportunity for the creators of Bb to initiate the Kit Kat golden tickets, why else would they have 100 of the things if only 1 person was intended to enter the house?? Finally I have to find a way of describing just how thoroughly vile and nauseating I find Nikki, did BB trawl the local nurseries and primary schools before they found her as a contestant??
